Houthi landmine explosion, kills and injures three citizens Northeast of Yemen

A citizen was killed and two others were injured, on the first day of Ramadan, when a Houthi landmine exploded east of the capital of Jawf Governorate (northeast of Yemen).

Local sources said that a Houthi landmine exploded, on Saturday, in the car of a citizen in the Labanat area, east of the city of Hazm, which led to the death of Ali Hayek, and the injury of two others who were with him in his car.

The explosion also caused extensive damage to the citizen's car.

The terrorist Houthi militia booby-trapped the desert road in Jawf Governorate with thousands of mines and unexploded ordnance.

Since the beginning of the war, the militia have planted more than two million mines, according to a government report, which have claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people, mostly women and children, among whom have become permanently disabled.
